Coral+Copper Styled Shoot
There is something so spellbinding and understated about copper and coral colours. This palette can be whimsical and dramatic at the same time, changing its look with the day and evening light, which reveals its versatile nature.
I love my colours and always work very closely on the colour palette. If I had to prioritise the steps in creating a flower piece (thank god I have never needed to), picking colours and textures would come first, and choosing flowers would be the final step. I love using foliage in my arrangements and I’m obsessed with dried foliage in particular, as the shades and textures they bring are sometimes out of this world!
The bouquet I did for this home shoot has everything I love: big coral blooms with yellow and copper centres, accompanied by copper foliage from my balcony tree, off-white peach-centered roses, apricot dianthus and cream hare’s tail grass.
The same ingredients are used in the centrepieces, arranged on flower frogs to add more dimensions to the arrangement.
